100% Wool Felt -

This is a blend of wools that create a felt that is both soft and durable.  For our thick felt we start with two pounds of washed wool and for our thin felt we use one pound.  The wool is first processed into a batt and then felted, which creates a very uniform felt.  Some of the uses for our felts include backgrounds for needle felting, purses, vests, leg wraps for horses, and saddlebags.

Sizes: Full sheet (approximately 36" x 48"), Half sheet (approximately 36" x 24")

Weights: Thick (2lbs), Thin (1lb)

Natural Colored Felt -

This is a blend of all fibers that we process so each sheet is an individual and no two are exactly alike.  To avoid over-blending the colors we do not first process this fiber blend into a batt.  Therefore, the finished felt will have some variations in thickness.

Sizes: Full sheet (approximately 36" x 48"), Half sheet(approximately 36" x 24")

Weights: Thick (2lbs), Thin (1lb)

This kit comes without a pre-printed pattern on the background felt.  Other than that, it is the same as our other needle felting kits.  This picture is just an example of the type of project that is possible with this kit.
